{"id":41319,"date":"2022-01-03T18:38:22","date_gmt":"2022-01-03T17:38:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trioptics.fr\/?post_type=product&#038;p=41319"},"modified":"2025-10-03T17:54:59","modified_gmt":"2025-10-03T15:54:59","slug":"sp-5000-ng-1-beam-interferometer","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/www.trioptics.fr\/en\/product\/sp-5000-ng-1-beam-interferometer\/","title":{"rendered":"SP 5000 NG 1-beam interferometer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>1 beam flat mirror interferometer<\/strong> (SP-NG series), developed by SIOS GmbH, is a <strong>homodyne interferometer<\/strong> (1 wavelength only) <strong>powered by a frequency-stabilized Helium Neon<\/strong> <strong>laser<\/strong>. The <strong>SIOS<\/strong> <strong>single-beam interferometer<\/strong> measures the distance between the object (plane mirror) and the interferometer with very high resolution. An optical fiber carries the source to the interferometer, enabling it to be positioned \u201cas close as possible\u201d to the mirror to be measured. The laser wavelength is corrected for environmental conditions (temperature, pressure and humidity). Mirror displacement is converted into two sinusoidal quadrature signals directly proportional to displacement. By fringe counting and interpolation, it is thus possible to achieve sub-nanometer resolutions.
