4D SurfSpec<\/strong> provides all actors in the surface processing chain with quantifiable information that can be used end-to-end in the process of processing and control. Thus, it ensures the final quality of the coating of painted<\/strong> and\/ or treated surfaces<\/strong>. This instrument has been developed to be easy and fast to use and allows to obtain measurements in a few seconds.<\/p>\n

The 4D SurfSpec has a high lateral resolution, capturing information from all wavelengths that affect the appearance of a surface. Its wide field of view of 16 16 mm ensures that the sample area is large enough to allow objective conclusions to be drawn. With a robust design and weight of only 3 kg, the system is 100% portable and can be used to measure parts at any stage in the production workshop. Its powerful suction cups allow it to measure all types of surfaces: horizontal, vertical, curved and even upside down.<\/p>\n

The 4D SurfSpec<\/strong> is the only surface appearance measurement system that can characterize the appearance of any raw material (plastic, composite, metal, rubber), but also surfaces coated with electrolytic coating (e-coat) and painted surfaces<\/strong>. This ability to analyse these different surfaces ensures consistency of results throughout the processing process. With a resolution of the nanoscale level, this instrument takes into account the smallest details of the measured surface.<\/p>\n

The 4D SurfSpec<\/strong> is delivered ready for production and provides a real-time 3D view for immediate operator feedback. The software provided also allows for more in-depth experimental analysis. Automatic feature search detects high areas, pinhole quantity, density, height and volume, as well as lateral dimensions of user-defined defects. It is even possible to export the data to common applications such as Bandify3D software for further analysis or to establish correlations with other instruments.<\/p>\n

The 4D SurfSpec<\/strong> was developed in partnership with key industry experts to be user-friendly and provide the most relevant information. It is the only system that measures surfaces of all common materials at each coating step. It provides the reliable data you need to control every step of the coating process and produce high quality final coatings.<\/p>\n

The 4D SurfSpec is hand-operated but can also be mounted on a robot for complete automation in production line.<\/p>\n
