The drum and measuring sleeve are matt chromed, providing maximum contrast with the graduated lines. As a pressure piece, a hardened steel ball is incorporated in the spindle. These micrometers are therefore particularly suitable for use as high-precision actuators.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Micrometers are available in three sizes. They differ in drum and sleeve diameter, spindle pitch, thread and stroke range from 6.0 to 50.0 mm.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">MS 6 measuring screws are fitted with an M6 x 0.5 mounting thread, MS 9 with M9 x 0.5 and MS 12 with M12 x 0.5.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Accuracy to DIN 863<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Matt chrome-plated measuring drum and sleeve<\/li>\n<li>Scale division: 5 <span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u03bc<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">m (MS 6 and MS 9) or 10 <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u03bc<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">m (MS 12)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Display range 6 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm, 25 mm and 50 mm, depending on version<\/li>\n<li>Spindle pitch 0.25 mm or 0.5 mm, depending on version<span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Option\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&#8211; vacuum-prepared versions available<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span data-contrast=\"auto\">MS 10 micrometers<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">MS 10 micrometers feature hardened and precision-ground spindles.
