The new d-Drivepro piezo controller features an instruction set compatible with that of the existing d-Drive series. As with the standard d-Drive, all digital piezo actuators can be controlled via a PC. The d-Drivepro digital piezo controller also shares the same features, including: a freely programmable frequency generator, an adjustable sweep rate, as well as notch and low-pass filters.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The d-Drivepro also enables actuators to be exchanged in the field via automatic sensor identification (ASI) and automatic sensor calibration (ASC). The new integrated FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) offers users of the d-Drive pro digital piezo controller new possibilities with the utmost flexibility. Highlights include high 24-bit resolution and simultaneous control of up to 3 axes. User interfaces include RS232, USB and Ethernet, as well as an analog modulation input and a monitor output. Output current for a single axis is adjustable up to 300 mA.<\/span><\/p>\n
