The 418 optical chopper<\/strong> is a stand-alone control unit coupled by a 2m-long cable to the chopper head. Four easily interchangeable chopper disks are supplied as standard, providing chopping frequencies from 5 Hz to 3 kHz.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A 2-slot disc with variable aperture and higher-frequency discs are also available. The chopping frequency is indicated by a digital dial, and a square reference output for use with lock-in amplifiers is supplied.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
