The DH_INSB cryogenically cooled indium antimony detector offers best-in-class performance down to 5.5 µm.
Housing an antimony-antimonide photodiode with an active area of 3 mm (1-5.5 µm), the DH_INSB operates in photovoltaic mode. Using an optically chopped input, the signal generated by this detector is best measured using the 477 trans-impedance preamplifier followed by the 496 DSP lock-in amplifier. Operation in cryogenic mode offers ultimate sensitivity and reduced noise performance.
The mounting flange supplied with the DH_INSB is compatible with the full range of Bentham monochromators and accessories.
