The Bentham DH_Ge germanium photodiode offers excellent linearity and responds at longer wavelengths than InGaAs detectors in DC mode.
The DH_Ge houses a germanium photodiode with an active surface 5 mm in diameter (800-1800nm), and operates in photovoltaic mode. The photocurrent generated by this detector is best measured using the 487 picoameter or the 477 preamplifier followed by the 496 lock-in amplifier.
The mounting flange supplied with the DH_Ge is compatible with the full range of Bentham monochromators and accessories.
