The closed deuterium spectral irradiance reference standard CL7 has been designed to greatly simplify spectroradiometer calibration by eliminating the requirements of a black room, precision optics bench or alignment tools.
Calibrated in our specialist laboratory with regard to the standards calibrated by the Physicalish Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB, Germany), calibration is provided over a range of 200 to 400 nm.
Equipped with a high-performance 30 W deuterium lamp, the spectroradiometer’s input optics are simply «plugged» into a highly reproducible position using an interchangeable adapter. A range of such interchangeable adapters fits the Bentham range of transmission diffusers and integral sphere input optics.
A stable operation of the lamp can be ensured when operating the CL7 with the deuterium 706 lamp power supply.
