Piezosystem Jena’s stack type actuators or piezoelectric actuators are based on multilayer ceramics. A special epoxy seal ensures the most flexible and longest protection on the market. This technique has proven itself in the field for many years thanks to our extensive experience. Depending on the size of the stacks, these piezoelectric actuators can move masses in kN. The resolution is only limited by signal noise.The ability to generate a significant force and be subjected to high massive loads with high resolutions makes our battery type actuators particularly useful fortools and dynamic scanning systems.
