PiezoSytem Jena develops ceramic-based piezo stages that are a little more special than “standard” stages.
These include a piezo slit, used mainly in a vacuum to block a laser beam with perfect knowledge of its aperture, piezo tweezers for micromanipulation, and a fiber positioner.
