3-Axis Turntables with central opening TRITOR 101, 102 and 320

Probe alignment in microscopes usually requires an open central space (for example, for light passage). The various positioning elements of the TRITOR 3-axis range, with a central free hole of several tens of mm, have been developed for such applications. Each axis is mechanically pre-loaded, making TRITOR positioning systems very well suited for dynamic applications. The unique TRITOR elements of Piezosystem Jena are extremely compact and offer a movement up to 400 μm stroke for the 320 version. The parallel movement is achieved without backlash due to the mechanical design. 

An integrated strain gauge measurement system to overcome the effect of hysteresis is available as an option. In addition, TRITOR positioning systems can be equipped with a capacitive measuring system. TRITOR piezoelectric elements can be easily combined with other mechanical positioning systems. 

They are ideal for a variety of applications ranging from optical research to OEM systems.
