The DH_MCT12 mercury cadmium telluride detector is cryogenically cooled and ensures high reactivity in the LWIR.
Housing a 2×2 mm (2-12 µm) active-area MCT photodiode, the DH_MCT12 operates in photoconductor mode with the dedicated 475 low-noise preamplifier module. Using an optically chopped input, the signal generated by this detector is best measured by the 496 DSP lock-in amplifier. Operation in cryogenic mode offers ultimate sensitivity and reduced noise performance.
The mounting flange supplied with the DH_MCT12 is compatible with the full range of Bentham monochromators and accessories.
