Heavy-duty lifting platforms

A wide range of applications, from industrial automation to large-scale measurement and metrology tools, demand enormous lifting capacities with nanometric precision. For such applications, our partner ALIO offers lifting stages with precision ballscrews driven by a frameless torque motor which is equipped with spring-applied air brakes, enabling them to lift 20kg without additional counterweight. For even higher loads, this series offers the “pneumatic boost” option, which uses a frictionless pneumatic counterweight to increase payload capacity to 50kg. 

Even with such high loads, these stages can achieve bidirectional repeatability of +/- 100nm over ranges of up to 50mm. This makes them ideal for applications requiring high loads and long travels without compromising accuracy.
