Stacks in P series case piezoelectric actuators

The P-series actuators are based on stacked actuators made by multilayer technology. 

They do not have a mechanical preload, but they can nevertheless withstand medium pressure forces. They should only be used in static applications. 

The piezoelectric battery is housed in a stainless steel housing with upper and lower epoxy to eliminate mechanical play. 

To protect the ceramic multi-layer actuator, they are filled with soft silicone rubber. The multi-layer stack actuator provides a response of less than millisecond and a resolution of less than nanometer.
