Attocube’s IDS fiber laser interferometer is a high-precision tool for non-contact measurement of displacements, positions, angles or vibrations in real time, with an acquisition frequency of 10 MHz. Based on laser + fiber optic technology, IDS measures directly at the target. Up to 3 measuring heads can be connected to a single base unit, enabling simultaneous tracking of 3 displacements at speeds of up to 2 m/sec. With a measuring head/target distance of 5 m, this sensor achieves nanometric resolution.
The IDS interferometer can be easily integrated into industrial or scientific environments, thanks to its compact dimensions (55 x 52 x 195 mm²), passive cooling and the ability to offset the measurement head by up to several hundred meters, thanks to the optical fiber. A wide range of fibers and measuring heads are available to suit the application environment (industrial, vacuum, low-temperature, etc.).
Output data can be both digital (HSSL, AquaB) and analog (Sin/Cos), ensuring IDS compatibility with a wide range of interfaces.
