These are the first portable precision instruments for 3D non-contact surface defect measurement. The 4D InSpec XL has a wider field of view (15 x 15mm) and a larger scan range than the 4D InSpec model. You always benefit from a resolution at the micrometer level, portability, ease of use. It measures and displays results in less than a second. This high-resolution metrology technology is now available in maintenance workshops, machining shops, flight lines and on-site services. You do not have to wait for the metrology laboratory report.

The 3D Defect Gauge, InSpec XL, quantifies surface defects such as pitting, scratches, bumps, oxidation, chamfering measurement, measuring connection edges, bending radii, rivet flush, from 5 μm to 9 mm deep. 4D InSpec XL is much more reproducible and accurate than the visual comparison techniques generally used. Unlike traditional metrology systems, it is portable, robust and affordable. It allows a wide range of part geometry to be measured in the most challenging environments.
