Optical Surfaces mirror beam expanders are perfectly achromatic. They incorporate a primary spherical mirror and a secondary parabolic off-axis mirror. This concept, known as the “Dall-Kirkham” concept, eliminates any central obscuration. Each mirror has a surface quality of lambda/10 P-V.

The design of these beam expander systems emphasizes mechanical stability to avoid any cumbersome mirror realignment even when the beam expander is moved.

The high flexibility of the production tool allows us to offer a very wide choice of widths and opening diameters.

Versions prepared for vacuum use are also available.

Main features of the mirror beam expander:

Magnification From X5 to X20
Achromatism From l’UV to l’IR
Input diameter From 3 to 150 mm
Output diameter From 20 to 400 mm
WFE < 0,25 lambda PTV
Traitements Metallized or multi-dielectric coatings.
