XY translation stages

Used in all types of high-precision applications, ALIO’s closed monolithic XY translation stages use direct linear drives and high-precision cross-roller bearings integrated in a compact three-plate system. 

Our partner ALIO’s XY translation stages are compact in size, yet offer standard travel ranges from 30mm to 400mm. If required, the stages can also be built for high-vacuum or cleanroom applications. 

The straightness and flatness of this range of stages enable nanometric precision to be achieved, with bidirectional repeatabilities of just +/- 30nm. They are equally effective in scanning applications requiring smooth, continuous motion, or when the need is for a fast forward and reverse process, even when highest throughput is most important. 

Closed monolithic XY translation stages are divided into two series: the standard LM series and the low-profile CM series. While the LM versions offer higher torque, acceleration and speed, the more compact CM series allows implementation in tools and applications with greater space constraints without compromising precision.
