The OWIS XYZ gantry system is a high-precision, versatile, and high-performance solution for demanding automation and manufacturing applications that require vertical movement. By combining cutting-edge technologies and flexible design options, the GANTX system offers exceptional performance and customized adaptations for research and industry.

The ironless linear motors used are characterized by high dynamics and virtually wear-free operation. The integrated high-resolution absolute linear measurement systems ensure continuous and reliable position determination without loss of the zero point. The system is therefore ideally suited for applications that require maximum precision and repeatability. Precise recirculating ball bearings are used to ensure accurate and stable movement of the XYZ axes. They are designed for high loads and fast movements and feature lifetime lubrication, minimizing maintenance. Thanks to magnetic load compensation, the Z-axis can also be dynamically controlled by linear motors—a definite advantage for vertical movements requiring high reaction and control speeds. State-of-the-art control systems with EtherCAT and CANopen interfaces enable simple and fast integration into existing automation solutions.

LINPOS linear motor translation stages offer travels up to 850 mm in the XY direction. The load capacity can also be adapted to the requirements of the application to ensure a custom solution for even the most specific applications.

An optional granite base ensures excellent stability and vibration damping, further improving the accuracy of the system.
