That’s why our partner GL Optic offers dedicated systems for precise light measurement in horticulture. These devices enable you to quickly obtain measurement results for horticultural lighting, and benefit from reliable data to optimize your lighting.
These instruments are designed for grow light manufacturers, scientists, test laboratories, farmers and others. In fact, these systems are programmed to take specific measurements of Photosynthetic Active Radiation (PAR), Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density (PPFD), Photosynthetic Photon Flux (PPF) and also Plant Biological Active Radiation (PBAR).

For PAR and PPFD measurements, GL Optic recommends the use of a spectrometer, which offers unrivalled measurement precision and covers a wide spectral range.
For PPF measurements, the appropriate equipment is the GL Opti Sphere integrating sphere. This sphere, available in various sizes from 48mm to 2m, will enable you to assess the total amount of energy produced by a light source in 1sec.
