TRIOPTICS France has recognized expertise in machine metrology, including linear and rotary axes. To meet the metrology needs of precision engineering and industrial manufacturers, two distinct instruments are offered:

Beam laser interferometer SP-15000-C for industrial machine axis calibration

Capable of operating up to 15 meters, the SP-15000-C 3-beam laser interferometer simultaneously measures five key parameters: distance, yaw and pitch angles, and vertical and lateral deviations.

This instrument offers a distance measurement resolution of 0.1 nm and angular resolution of <0.01 arcseconds over a ±5° range. A range of additional accessories allows adaptation to most desired measurement configurations.

Applications include calibration of linear axes on machine tools, special machines, and 3D measuring machines.

Axis and rotary table calibration with TriAngle UltraSpec electronic autocollimator

Using the 12-face reference polygon, accessories, and dedicated software, the TriAngle UltraSpec autocollimator allows angular calibration of rotary tables with a precision of 0.25 arcseconds.

For linear axis calibration, the TriAngle UltraSpec comes with a pentaprism (optical square) and a mounted flat mirror. This calibration “kit” ensures linearity, orthogonality, and parallelism measurements of axes with accuracy better than 1 µm/m.
