Our partner MSE specializes in miniaturized optical velocimeters and anemometers with key points minimum size and minimum weight.
We offer a complete range of laser Doppler velocimetry systems offering unrivalled compactness and ease of use. Laser Doppler Velocimeters (LDV), also known as Laser Doppler Anemometers (LDA), are interferometric sensors for measuring the velocity of fluids (gases or liquids) as well as the velocity of solids generally on surfaces, although it is also possible to measure through – or into – transparent objects.
Unlike competitors solutions, MSE sensors are extremely easy to use, requiring no complicated alignment, and are the smallest, lightest and most energy-efficient sensors currently available. All three sensor types can measure speed as well as direction, but each is set for a specific measuring distance.
The miniLDV and ultraLDV sensors are the world’s most compact velocimeters, renowned for their ease of use. The ultraLDV velocimeter is designed for applications where sensitivity and accuracy are paramount. The microPro has been designed specifically to fill a gap in boundary layer profilometry. The microPro probe contains a laser, miniature beam shaping optics, receiving optics, detection system and electronics.
