The miniLDV 2D Doppler velocimeter consists of two independent miniLDV probes. They are mounted perpendicular to each other, with a common, concurrent optical path, making it a true 2D probe. Standard measurement distances available are 33, 50, 100, 150 or 240 mm.

The miniLDV 2D sensor has a measurement range from 1 mm/s to 300 m/s, with a repeatability uncertainty of 0.1% and an absolute accuracy of 99.7%. ? The miniLDV 2D system comprises the miniLDV 2D probe, two processing units with USB interface and 3D acquisition management software.

Linear displacement systems (one or two axes) with manual or electronic drive (electronic displacements are controlled from the software) and a computer with the software installed and verified by MSE technicians are available as options. mse-system-2DminiLDVThe receiver is connected to the sensor via a fiber optic cable.

A 2D miniLDV LDV velocimeter can also be built from two miniLDV probes, so that they can also be used independently of each other. If the standard probes don’t meet your requirements, please contact us and ask about our customized solutions.
