The ATS alignment turning station with integrated precision measurement technology is an excellent demonstration of TRIOPTICS’ capacity for innovation. This is a family of high-performance alignment turning stations for production use, which are easy to use thanks to their user-friendly software and despite their versatility. Controlling all operating steps in a single process enables the safe production of high-performance lens systems. Not only does this make manufacturing more precise and significantly faster, it also results in more robust end products, better equipped to withstand conditions such as temperature fluctuations and impact.
The use of ATS offers two important advantages:
- Precision: precise manufacture of high-performance lens systems, something virtually no other process offers.
- Speed: increased profitability with consistent accuracies by streamlining your production processes.
With its ATS 100, TRIOPTICS offers a compact and stable alignment turning station, optimized for lens systems with diameters of up to 100 mm and weights of up to 3 kg. Extremely easy operation and automated processes enable its use in volume production.
Compact design
Space is at a premium for efficient production. The size of a machine is often determined by the conduits required for supply lines, which are hidden beneath large covers on the outside of the support frame. In the mineral composite base of the ATS 100 alignment turning station, these lines can be fully integrated – without affecting stability. This means that little space is required, and floor surfaces can be optimally utilized.
Efficient even in daily cleaning
For TRIOPTICS, a machine developed for series production must not only deliver excellent machining performance, but daily cleaning must also be easy and thorough. To ensure this, the lower section of the ATS 100 features a connection for an industrial vacuum cleaner, which sucks up all swarf through an opening in the measuring and machining chamber.
Active adaptation to environmental conditions
Thanks to its extremely robust design, the ATS 100 is highly resistant to external influences. Environmental conditions such as temperature can be integrated into the machining process to achieve continuous corrections in the production process. This active control ensures high repeatability under fluctuating external conditions.
