Benchtop goniometer for small luminaires and LED components
The GLG 8-850 goniospectrometer is a tabletop C-type system for measuring luminous intensity distribution, luminous flux and colorimetry.
The easy-to-use GL Optic system combines the functionalities of a goniophotometer with those of a spectroradiometer to measure luminous flux, determine luminous intensity distribution and colorimetric parameters required by international standards.
The new GLG 8-850 goniometer is a high-end C-type benchtop goniometer designed for measuring LED modules and small luminaires, and for component testing.
The automated system can measure devices weighing up to 8 kg and with a maximum diameter of 850 mm. The system, controlled by GL Spectrosoft software, allows measurements with an angular resolution of 0.1° and within the angular range of the C axis and λ +/- 180°.
Small size, big capacity
Don’t let size fool you. The GLG 8-850 goniometer can measure not only LED modules or small luminaires, but also vehicle lights, thanks to the optional Type A conversion kit. An integrated laser alignment device enables the object to be measured to be precisely positioned on the goniometer, and the distance to the measuring instrument to be measured. The goniometer can be fitted with an optional temperature stabilization module.
A goniometer compliant with international standards
GL Optic devices are regularly updated to comply with international standards. Compliance with CIE S025/E:2015 and IES LM-79 standards guarantees that the results obtained can be used to sell products worldwide.
