Laminar Flow Hoods – Flowbox, cleanroom cabins, cleanroom hoods.
Laminar flow provides almost complete control and eliminates all suspended particles. Laminar flow is a highly purified air flow at a uniform rate of 0.45 ± 0.1 ms over the work area to be protected. Laminar flow units are fitted with special HEPA filters.
- With pre-filter
- Main filter for cleanroom class 5/10/100
- Customer-specific dimensions available
- Ceiling or frame-mounted
- Cleanroom size according to customer requirements
- Circumferential strip curtain in PVC, acrylic glass or safety glass
- Ventilation module, radial fan with very low vibration and automatic adjustment
- Pollution-monitoring filter
Modules with vertical air ducts are designed for wall or ceiling mounting.
Ambient air is drawn in by the fan via a pre-filter, then passed through a HEPA filter on the cleanroom side.

- Design of entire cleanrooms
- Cooling module with heat exchanger element to compensate for the resulting thermal load
Laminar flow hood filter:
The individual filter bags, which consist of several base units to form a filter wall, are tightly connected to an easily replaceable frame. Thanks to spacer strips on each individual bag, overlapping of filter surfaces is prevented and a favorable increase in resistance over the operating time is ensured. The filters have a high dust-holding capacity and comply with EU quality class 7.
Laminar flow cooling section:
The cooling module of the laminar flow hood compensates for the resulting thermal load of the system and maintains the required temperature.
Fan module.
Direct-drive radial fans are used. They are continuously controlled via a control unit. The ultra-low-vibration fans are quiet and have a flat noise level profile.
Laminar flow filter:
The filter’s filtration efficiency is of paramount importance, but so is the formation of a laminar airflow in the work area. That’s why laminar flow filters are a must for cleanroom applications.
