The MIPOS series piezoelectric lens positioning system has been developed for precise adjustment of microscope lenses and lenses. The maximum movement is 20 μm. The resolution of MIPOS 20 is very high and, in practice, only limited by the voltage noise of the power supply.
A special integrated preload design offers the following advantages:
– Very small angular deviation
– Very parallel movement at high range
– High resonance frequency
All standard threads for Zeiss, Leica, Olympus, Nikon, Mitutoyo etc. are available for the upper and lower sides of MIPOS series.
Mounting this system on the microscope is very simple: screw the Flex-Adapter threaded ring into the microscope and mount the MIPOS on this ring with a clamping screw. Due to the small size, no other threads next to MIPOS are blocked.
To prevent drift and hysteresis, the MIPOS elements of the piezoelectric lens positioning system are also available with an integrated strain gauge measurement system «SG».
