Mirror collimators manufactured by our partner Optical Surfaces Ltd incorporate an off-axis parabolic mirror associated with a plane mirror. These mirrors can be machined in materials such as Pyrex, silica or Zérodur when thermal stability is important.
The design of these optical collimators emphasizes mechanical stability to avoid any cumbersome mirror realignment even when the collimator is moved.
The high flexibility of the production tool allows us to offer a very wide choice of focal lengths, aperture diameters and working distance.
