Mounts for mirrors < 300 mm

The range of adjustable mirror mounts from Optical Surfaces has been developed to support optics and mirrors such as off-axis paraboloids, spheres and flat mirrors in applications where stability is important. Four sizes are manufactured for mirror diameters ranging from 100 mm to 254 mm, while intermediate sizes can be mounted with custom-made reducers. The component thicknesses have been chosen to respect the traditional diameter/thickness ratio of 6:1. The differential micrometers allow for a coarse and fine control of the inclination in two orthogonal directions of 2.7 degrees for the largest sizes and up to 6 degrees for the smallest. The sensitivity is better than 3 arc seconds.
