MSD: micrometers and fine pitch screws

MSD differential measuring screws have hardened and precision-ground spindles. Scale values of 0.5 µm allow even the smallest position changes. The drum and measuring sleeve are matt chrome-plated, providing maximum contrast with the scale lines. A hardened steel ball is incorporated into the spindle as a pressure piece. These micrometers are therefore particularly suitable for use as high-precision actuators. 

Micrometers are available with M9 x 0.5 thread (15 mm stroke) and M12 x 0.5 thread (25 mm stroke). 

The micrometers are secured after installation using the appropriate locknuts.
