Our German partner OPTA has been manufacturing optical tables since 1995. Tables are made to order, enabling us to produce any desired size and shape (L-shaped, U-shaped, H-shaped, with central opening or vertical table top, etc.).
Backed by over 25 years’ experience, OPTA has developed non-magnetic “amagnetic”plates to suit experiments requiring a non-magnetic environment.
Non-magnetic plates are available in two different materials:
- 4301 stainless steel alloy (suitable for most non-magnetic applications)
- aluminum and brass inserts (100% non-magnetic
The choice of material will depend on the environment in which the plates will be used.
A 2-year warranty is offered by the manufacturer.
