The reflective solar simulator uses a series of mirrors, including a specific parabolic mirror that curves the light source without the drawbacks of refractive optics. This allows the simulator to direct the light beam from the source of the arc lamp to the target plane for high intensity uniform illumination.

The high-pressure xenon lamp in each simulator provides an excellent basic match for solar simulation. The solar spectral distribution under different terrestrial conditions can be simulated using air mass filters AM0.

To vary the location of your test surface, several simulators can be mounted on a vertical support and, if they are combined with a beam rotation accessory, will project the simulator to the ground, wall or ceiling, according to the needs of your research.

The air mass filters used with each simulator have a size of 3 x 3 and can be easily changed in each model thanks to an integrated access panel. There are two slots for AM filters in each simulator, additional slots can be added upon request.

These solar simulators can also be used for UV applications by replacing solar filters with UV filters.
