SLV – NEW: Surface Velocimeter

The new SLV surface velocimeter developed by MSE enables non-contact, high-precision measurement of the length, speed and direction of moving surfaces. Calibrated for life, this fully-integrated, laser-free velocimeter is the only one on the market to offer such high accuracy in such a small package (50.8 x 50.8 x 158.4 mm).

Accurate to 99.95% for length and 99.7% for speed.

Suitable for measurement on most solid materials such as textiles, paper, films, but also, even very fine wires, cables, fibers, grains of sand, powders, rotating shafts etc.
