TRIOPTICS GmbH
TRIOPTICS Gmbh, headquartered in Wedel near Hamburg in northern Germany, represents over 30 years of experience in optical measurement technology, more than 500 employees worldwide and 8 international subsidiaries, including TRIOPTICS France. Since 2020 TRIOPTICS is member of the JENOPTIK group.
The history of TRIOPTICS GmbH
TRIOPTICS was founded on December 1, 1991 by Mr. Dumitrescu and two partners. From the outset, the company’s aim was to establish itself worldwide in the field of computer-controlled optical measurement technology.
By the 2000s, TRIOPTICS was internationally recognized as a leader in this field, and considerably expanded its product portfolio. The creation of the first cell phone cameras opened up a new market and enabled the company, with its ImageMaster PRO range, to become the standard used for the final inspection of photo optics present in “smartphones”, further propelling the company forward.
A few years later, TRIOPTICS successfully entered the ophthalmology market by developing optical measurement technology for quality control of intraocular lenses.
Today, TRIOPTICS continues to expand its product portfolio, constantly improving established measurement methods and focusing on the automation of these systems. The company now offers customized solutions for the new VR/AR applications market.
Since September 2020, TRIOPTICS has been part of the Jenoptik Group and is gradually being integrated into it.
TRIOPTICS France
TRIOPTICS France, the French subsidiary of TRIOPTICS Gmbh, was founded on April 1, 1996 at the Domaine Scientifique de La Doua in Villeurbanne (69).
At TRIOPTICS France, in addition to our parent company’s range we market a range of exclusive instruments dedicated to high-tech research and industry.
Our aim is to propose cutting edge solutions based on the latest technologies in optics, photonics, micro- and nano-positioning, photometry and high-precision measurements.
Our customer base is relatively diversified: we work for research institutes, public and private laboratories, as well as SMEs and major international groups in the fields of optics, optoelectronics, lasers, lighting, space, avionics, medical, defense, instrumentation…
As for our suppliers, they are European or American and all have recognized names in their field of expertise. What’s more, they are keen to keep pace with the technologies of the future, and devote a significant part of their business to developing new technologies.
