MS micrometers 

MS micrometers feature hardened and precision-ground spindles. The drum and measuring sleeve are matt chromed, providing maximum contrast with the graduated lines. As a pressure piece, a hardened steel ball is incorporated in the spindle. These micrometers are therefore particularly suitable for use as high-precision actuators. 

 Micrometers are available in three sizes. They differ in drum and sleeve diameter, spindle pitch, thread and stroke range from 6.0 to 50.0 mm. 

MS 6 measuring screws are fitted with an M6 x 0.5 mounting thread, MS 9 with M9 x 0.5 and MS 12 with M12 x 0.5.  

• Accuracy to DIN 863
• Matt chrome-plated measuring drum and sleeve
• Scale division: 5 μm (MS 6 and MS 9) or 10 μm (MS 12)
• Display range 6 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm, 25 mm and 50 mm, depending on version
• Spindle pitch 0.25 mm or 0.5 mm, depending on version

MS 10 micrometers 

MS 10 micrometers feature hardened and precision-ground spindles. The drum and measuring sleeve are matt chromed, providing maximum contrast with the graduated lines. As a pressure piece, a hardened steel ball is incorporated in the spindle. These micrometers are therefore particularly suitable for use as high-precision actuators. 

Micrometers are available in sizes MS 10-6 and MS 10-9. They differ in their 0.10 mm spindle pitch from the MS micrometers with 0.25 mm or 0.5 mm spindle pitch. The measuring path is 12 mm or 15 mm. 

MS 10 measuring screws are fitted with M6 x 0.5 or M9 x 0.5 mounting threads.
